Ever make dinner and think to yourself... I should have more on this plate. Or even, another side would be really good but I don't know what. Well, I have the side for you!! ASPARAGUS!!! This side is great to pair with a steak, pasta, chicken and even fish!! It is so versatile, so the choice is up to you how you want to use it!
Ingredients:
1 bundle of asparagus
4 Tbsp stick of butter
1/2 lemon (zest & juice)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Directions:
1.) Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F
2.)Prep your asparagus, taking it our of the rubber band that holds them together and was the bundle under some warm water. Once the asparagus is washed cut off the ends, about an inch or so in.
3.) Place asparagus in a round 8 inch pan and spread evenly. Place the butter in dabs around the asparagus all over the pan. Take your lemon and zest over the pan before juicing. Once you have the zest of the lemon on top of the asparagus you can juice it over the pan. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO SEEDS!!! You don't want to accidentally eat one!
4.) After, juicing the lemon on asparagus you can now cut thin pieces of the lemon to place on top. Once everything looks good to you. You can pop that baby in the oven for about 25-30mins!
5.) Once roasted and you can see the asparagus has wilted you can take them out & serve!!
ENJOY!!!!
