Hurts Donut Company Review

So today I was walking down 7th street in Fort Worth. It's a little foodie nook where you can find some of the cutest shops. You can find some of the best food in Fort Worth including good burgers, donuts, tacos and tapas. And today was the day that I found the cutest little donut shop called Hurts Donuts! Let me show you the donuts I got!

Now that you see them I want us all to take a moment of silence........ ANNNND we're back! Honestly, the vibe of the store was really aesthetically pleasing, it is somewhere a lot of millennial's would go. When I say that I mean somewhere it would be no problem to get your flicks and your snapchat worthy post. They have a variety of flavors from the new corky flavors, like key lime pie to the oldie donuts like your chocolate frosted and old fashioned. So, of course I had to grab a few to test them out for you.....yea for you not because I was tempted by the smell or the look of these bomb donuts. I grabbed a half dozen and ranked them from 1-10, 1 being not good at all to 10 being FIREEEE. I will list all the flavors and the rankings below but I just want to let you know whether you look at these ratings this donut shop is well worth giving it a try!!

Strawberry Cheesecake:

Rating: 2

(The donut itself was pretty good, just sweet there were some ghram crackers on top that added some texture. But, the strawberry filling tastes like it came from a can, having a filmy taste to it..)

Red Velvet:

Rating: 1

( I was expecting the donut to have a red velvet flavor but it was just sweet overall. There was nothing special about the donut. Only thing that I liked was that there was a nice chew to the donut.)

German Chocolate:

Rating: 7

(Overall, it was a pretty good donut! It was a chocolate donut with chocolate frosting with a really good coconut filling. But again, there was nothing that really stood out for me to win me over!)

Blueberry Crumb:

Rating: 10

( I had asked for the best seller.... and now I know why it's the best seller. This donut was the best donut from this place! It was a blueberry donut with a glaze topped with crumb top and it was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S!!!)

Keylime:

Rating:1

(I'm not going to have any filter on this blog because these are all my true pure thoughts. But, I that was the worst donut I think I have ever had. No joke... The topping had a green swirl and inside was a pudding like cream that was lime tasting but again I got that can like taste! Not my fav at all!!)

Salted Carmel:

Rating: 8

(This donut was pretty good! Texture was like a donut you could get at Dunkin' Donuts. The only thing that I liked about the donut was the topping. I could eat that frosting with anything! It was thick just like carmel and you can bet that I demolished just the frosting! SORRY NOT SORRY)
